1. General Conditions

By placing an order with LP Designs ("We," "Us," "Our"), you ("Client," "You," "Your") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. LP Designs is a fashion design studio based in Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.

2. Custom Orders and Consultations

• Consultation & Design: All custom orders begin with a design consultation. You will be presented with a design sketch, material samples, and an initial quote.
• Measurements: You are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date body/foot measurements. We will guide you on how to take these, or they can be taken at our studio. We are not liable for fitting issues arising from inaccurate measurements provided by the client.
• Material Variation: While we strive for accuracy, material colors and textures shown online or in samples may vary slightly due to screen calibration or dye batches.

3. Pricing and Payment

• Quote Validity: All quotes are valid for a period of seven (7) days from the date of issue.
• Deposit: A non-refundable initial deposit of 50% of the total quoted price is required before work can commence on any custom design.
• Final Payment: The remaining balance of 50% is due in full upon completion of the product and must be paid before the final fitting or collection/shipping of the item.
• Overdue Payments: LP Designs reserves the right to withhold completed items until full payment is received.

4. Production and Timelines

• Production Time: Estimated completion times are provided at the time of order placement. These are estimates and not guarantees. We will inform you of any significant delays.
• Fittings: For custom apparel, fittings are a mandatory part of the process. Failure to attend scheduled fittings may result in delays or additional charges.

5. Intellectual Property

The final design, pattern, and creative concept for all custom products remain the intellectual property of LP Designs until full payment is received. After payment, the final physical product belongs to the Client, but LP Designs retains the right to use photos of the final product for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes, unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing.

6. Limitation of Liability

LP Designs' liability for any claim shall be limited to the total price paid for the product in question. We are not liable for damages caused by the Client's misuse, incorrect care, or normal wear and tear of the product.

7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the laws of Lagos State. Any unresolved disputes shall first be referred to negotiation or mediation in Lagos, Nigeria, before seeking redress in a court of competent jurisdiction within Lagos State, in line with consumer protection mechanisms established by the Lagos State Consumer Protection Agency Law.
